Hey, my name is Omid (pronounced O-meed)! 👋

I'm a marketer with over 8 years of experience working in marketing. I’ve worked full-time at marketing agencies and tech startups. And I’ve also created my own businesses with my knowledge of SEO and content creation.

In 2014, I was studying to become a Mechanical Engineer but felt like I wasn’t scratching the creative itch I’ve had since I was 14 — making YouTube videos in my bedroom. That's when I shifted my focus to marketing and content.

This led me to ditch my career in engineering and go all in on marketing, eventually making my way to working as a Growth Marketing Manager at a marketing agency.

Shortly after that, I found myself in San Francisco, CA — working my dream job. This is where I fell in love with SEO and content marketing.

However, three years ago, I left that dream job leading SEO at Webflow to create a media website I wish existed when I started my career. Since then, I’ve freelanced, built a boutique SEO agency, and helped SaaS businesses — from startups to large companies — grow their organic traffic.

And before you even say it, yes, I know there are hundreds of SEO and content marketing courses out there. But to be honest, I’m not impressed with a lot of them. Many fail to tell the full story or don’t offer practical, up-to-date strategies that drive actual results today.

Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with startups and train content marketing teams. I’ve applied the same strategies I teach in this course to my own media site, Marketer Milk, which now brings in enough affiliate revenue to support me without relying on client income (I show it all in the course).

I created this course because I realized how much time I spent training others and wished there was a comprehensive resource when I started. This course is everything I’ve learned, designed for two people: my younger self — who almost got fired for not delivering SEO results early on in my career — and the future employees I may hire. It’s a complete brain dump of what works in content marketing and SEO.

As a result of designing this course for myself, it helps what I have been (and am today) — a marketer and a founder.

Google Search is changing

There’s no better feeling for a marketer than seeing your website traffic and revenue go up and to the right.

But knowing how to drive organic traffic to a website has never seemed more confusing than now.

In the past year, we've seen the rise of AI allow marketers to manipulate search engine rankings and help them drive traffic to websites in a way we've never seen before.

And on top of that, many fear what will happen to search engines like Google as AI search begins to rise.

But here's the thing: as long as people are searching for information, SEO will always live on.

But it's not just about Google. While it remains the gold standard for search engines, SEO goes beyond one platform. The content you create on your website is an asset that helps attract your target customers, regardless of the search engine or medium.

Whether it's Google, Bing, or DuckDuckGo, the fundamentals of SEO still apply. Your content should resonate with readers, provide real value, and drive conversions.

And many businesses invest in SEO, yet they either grow traffic without seeing more customers or create content that resonates but doesn’t rank. The real magic happens when you combine great copywriting and strategy with SEO/growth marketing tactics.

This course is designed for marketers and founders. It's mainly for content marketers or SEO managers that work at startups and software companies.
